Booking and payment
Full payment for workshops, using the online payment facility, is required at time of booking to secure a your place. Bookings can be made up to 24 hours in advance of commencement of the workshop.

Once booked on one of our workshops, we will email you a full list of the materials required to complete the workshop. We will provide full use of our Janome sewing machines and overlockers together with equipment.
Each session is allocated sufficient time therefore, please arrive to all workshops and sessions at the time advertised. If you are more that 15-20 minutes late, it may not be possible for you to participate in the workshop, if this means the tutor has to repeat information and material already taught to the other participants.
Workshop cancellations by you
All workshops non-refundable under any circumstances. Our prices are calculated to provide value for money whilst covering the costs and viability of providing and running the workshops. We do not offer make-up sessions for those missed.
However, if you provide in writing at least 15 days notice of the start date of the workshop to cancel a place, we are happy to transfer you to another workshop, space permitting and subject to availability. If this is not possible your booking can be transferred to another person to attend. Please note it is your responsibility to find a replacement person and you must advise at least 24 hours in advance of the commencement of the workshop who will be attending in your place.
Multiple class sessions
Please note that where a workshop continues over various sessions in length, no make up sessions are provided for any that you miss for any reasons or circumstance. However, if you require further tuition to complete your project, private tuition may be booked, subject to availability and booking terms.

Private tuition charge is £35 per hour and a minimum of two continuous hours per session. An invoice upon booking will be sent to you via email and payment in full is required at least 7 days before the start of the session.
equipment and materials
Full use of one of our Janome sewing machines and overlockers is available to you together with sewing equipment. If is your responsibility to bring the required pattern and materials for your project. Please provide details of the project you wish us to tutor you on in advance in order that we can advise you on what to bring for your booked session. If you wish to bring your own sewing machine or overlocker, this must be under 1 year old or have been PAT tested by and electrician. This is for health and safety reason. Please note we are unable to carry out repairs on any machines you bring to your session.
All sessions must start at the time booked. If you are more than 15-20 minutes late we may have to reschedule the session. No extra time will be added to the end of the session.

All private tuition sessions are non-refundable under any circumstances. If you need to reschedule your session, please provide at least 24 hours notice and we will rearrange your session to another suitable time, subject to availability. Please note we will only allow this once.

design & fitting service
booking and payment
A 50% non refundable deposit is payable on acceptance of our estimate for the design, fitting and making your bespoke customised item to the specifications agreed. Payment of the deposit is required before work can commence.
Once your bespoke item is completed a final invoice will be issued and payable immediately on completion of the item, including additional costs incurred as detailed in the estimate. Any deposit paid will be deducted. Once paid in full the item will be either delivered to you or available for collection.
Withdrawals, cancellations, exchanges or returns are not accepted for orders of bespoke customised items. Refunds are only applicable if an item has been delivered faulty. This will be determined at the discretion of sarah diane creative.
SEWING RETREATs ACCOMMODATION breaks & days
Payments must be made in full at the time of the booking online to secure your place and are non-refundable.
If a deposit option is available on the drop down menu for a specific retreat event, a 50% non-refundable payment of the full package price of each accommodation option is required on booking online. The balance is payable two months before the start of the event. You will be contacted prior to this date with details of how to make the balance payment due to Sarah Diane Creative. Failure to pay by the deadline date will result in your place being cancelled. No refund is available on the deposit nor the final balance under any circumstances. Deposit options are only available for a limited time only. We reserve the right to remove them at any time. Deposit options are also excluded from any ‘Early Bird’ discount or other offer(s) that may be offered. Additional night stays and ‘extras’ such as tickets for activities etc are payable in full on booking and excluded from deposit options.
If you have booked a shared occupancy option for our accommodation breaks, you will share a room with another attendee who has book the shared option also. If you are wishing to share with someone you already know, who has also booked the shared occupancy option, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
The specific itinerary for each retreat will be available for you after booking. It is recommended that you stick to the arrival and departure times of this in order to get the most out of your retreat experience. If you are unable to attend a certain part of the itinerary, please let us know in advance. Please note that no alterations to the price of the retreat can me made if you are not able to attend the whole retreat.
If you are no longer able to attend the retreat at all, no refunds are available. However, if you wish to transfer your booking to a person you know, please contact us to discuss this further and whether this is an option.
All costs incurred outside of the package provision detailed on the event page is your responsibility to pay the venue where the retreat is held. This includes, but is not exclusive to, all drinks, food, room service etc. These will be added to your room bill and is your responsibility to settle with the venue provider in line with their terms and conditions. Sarah Diane Creative is not liable for any of these costs.
We will not be held liable for any other costs or expenses that you may incur if you are late or unable to attend or for any other reason.
Our general liability on the retreat is detailed below in the ‘GENERAL’ section.
We are not liable for any accidents or injuries that may occur whilst you are on our premises or on our retreats. We are also not liable for any loss or damage to your property or belongings whilst on our premises or on our retreats.
We reserve the right to alter our pricing at any time and the prices are current at the time of booking. We are under no obligation to issue a refund for any class or retreat booked outside an offer or sale we are holding.
